| The third studio album of the leaders of Russian pagan metal scene! While creating this material, the musicians actively used old Russian folk music texts, fragments of Edvard Grieg's compositions and some parts of the soundtrack for "13th Warrior" movie. "Poslednyaya Bitva Bogov" was taken from the first cult demo of the band "Kniga Velesa" (1998). A few songs from this CD such as "Solntsestoyanie" and "Sny Severnogo Morya" are still among the main concert hits of Butterfly Temple. "Sny Severnogo Morya" ('Dreams Of A Northern Sea') is a combustible mixture of raw, weird pagan/black metal riffs and traditional folk tunes, performed by Butterfly Temple and folk singer Ludmila. |
